My contribution
I plan, research, diagnose and complete the restoration work myself, using manuals and specialist guidance where appropriate. The vehicle restoration is ongoing.
01 · The Challenge
A 1984 vehicle carries four decades of wear, undocumented modifications and previous repairs. The visible symptom is not always the real fault. The job is to research carefully, diagnose methodically and restore each part without creating new problems elsewhere.

Researched factory manuals, forums and wiring diagrams thoroughly before touching a tool.

Diagnosed electrical faults methodically: isolate the circuit, test the assumption, follow the current, not the guess.

Planned the project in stages with a real parts and sequence order, so work didn't have to be undone.

Documented the work as I went so later repairs started with better information.
03 · The Outcome
A rolling, running rebuild driven by understanding rather than trial and error.
Electrical faults traced and repaired back to a known-good baseline.
A working method of research, diagnosis, planning and execution that transfers directly to business.
04 · Lessons Learned
The visible symptom is almost never the root cause. Slow diagnosis beats fast guessing.
Attention to detail is not perfectionism. It is what stops you doing the same job twice.
Good practical work starts with understanding the problem before changing anything.
